Breast milk is best for your baby

Breast milk is best for babies. The World Health Organisation (WHO) and Health Promotion Board (HPB) recommend exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. Unnecessary introduction of bottle feeding or other food and drinks will have a negative impact on breastfeeding. At around six months of age (but not before 4 months), infants should receive nutritionally adequate and age-appropriate complementary foods while breastfeeding continues for up to two years of age or beyond. Consult your doctor before deciding to use infant formula or if you have difficulty breastfeeding.

Chicken and Mushroom Soup



  • 1.5 scoops Similac Mum Vanilla
  • 1 cup water
  • Garlic
  • Shallots
  • Mushrooms
  • Chicken breast
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Chicken stock
  • Cooking cream


  1. Mix 1.5 scoops of Similac Mum Vanilla with 1 cup of water.
  2. Chop garlic, shallots and mushrooms.
  3. Pan sear chicken breast and cut into small pieces.
  4. Sauteed mushrooms with butter, garlic and shallots. Stir flour in mushroom mixture and season with black pepper and salt to your preference. Save a portion to add back in later.
  5. Heat up chicken stock in mushroom and puree it later. Add cooking cream followed by Similac Mum Vanilla. Cook till soup is thickened.
  6. Add in the saved chicken and mushroom portion and enjoy!
